Thank you for your quick and detailed response! Okay, that's fine with me then, good work!

However, next time, could you please specify the source of your information? For example in you changeset ‘census of Turkmenistan 2022’. This will allow anyone looking at the changeset to understand where it comes from, which is particularly useful in the case of disputed figures.

Or even better, specify it with a "source:population" tag, as I did here some time ago: relation/7117363/history/12 (with a "Wikidata" mention on my changeset source)

Message from ljc in Telegram :

Checked their history and made sure that it was BigKev's machine translated road names with obvious translation errors caused by North Korean latin transcription method which differs from that of the south (k t p being used in place of ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ as they would be in the south, confusion of ㅗ from ㅓ due to ŏ being written as o with no breve, etc) and streets literally called [name] 스트리트

Hello ljc_jlyb,

I saw this changeset that changed a lot of names on Pyongyang Street. What is your source for this ?

Have a good mapping !

Hi, I've just see you edits.

Where did you find the english name for "곰도" ("곰섬") way/16380436 ?

The US NGA (National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency) absolutely don't use this one : https://www.geonames.org/1867345/kom-do.html (nor the old map from the US Army Map Service : https://maps.lib.utexas.edu/maps/ams/korea_50k/txu-pclmaps-oclc-6612107-sonam-dong-6132-4.jpg, which use "Ung-do").

Did you speak korean ? Did you master romanization ? (McCune-Reischauer Romanization, Revised Romanization of Korean, Yale Romanization, or better Romanization of Korean ?)

Thanks in advance for you answers

It was a mistake I made when adding a tag too quickly with Alt+A on JOSM, I've just fixed it.

Are there any other buildings with this kind of error ? Is there an Osmose error related to this issue?

Hello, thanks for contributing in OSM in North Korea. What is the source that helps you add these shops and POI?
