There's a trail that winds around the entrance road and crosses it twice. It needs to be tracked and mapped, but I never seem to get around to it when I'm there.

Someone else has drawn in a "Halls River Main Spring", a "Joerns Spring" (both shown as ponds rather than springs) and a Joerns Canal. I have mapped the "Halls River Head Spring" and two other Halls River springs as described on

...which shows the Halls River Head Spring at the head of the Joerns Canal rather than at the head of the Halls River. The Florida Springs Database doesn't list a Joerns Spring at all. Someone in the know needs to clear up which springs actually exist and which are named which.

Looks like a newer development here not visible from other sources. Will need an on the ground survey.

The Cedar Key town limits are insane. Someone who knows the actual delineation of the town needs to clean them up.

I've drawn in Shell Mound Trail as a simple straight line, but it needs someone to track it and map it properly.

The Wild Persimmon Hiking Trail needs to be mapped:

The golf courses seem to go on forever. They should all be drawn in, along with the paved golf cart paths. And every dead-end road with a turning circle at the end should have that last point defined as a turning circle.

I've drawn in the approximate route of the Econfina Creek, but someone with a kayak really should GPS-trace it more precisely. Someone should also GPS-trace the Florida Trail which runs alongside it. There's a trailhead right where I put the pointer for this note.

The Slave Canal needs to be GPS-traced (by canoe) and mapped.

This forest is chock full of hiking trails. They all need to be GPS-traced and mapped.
