I love mapping trails and mountains from where I go hiking, camping, and rock climbing. I usually record and upload GPS tracks from where I travel outdoors offroad or hiking, and then this spurs updates for anything interesting I found around the trail, or on the way to the trail, so then I end up mapping buildings, and houses with https://rapideditor.org/ or https://tasks.mapwith.ai/ and then sometimes I get bored and check out https://www.hotosm.org/ to visit other parts of the world. I use the data I add in mobil with https://organicmaps.app/ and make simple edits when out with Bryce Cogswells awesome https://apps.apple.com/us/app/go-map/id592990211 its very fun to visit a place years later and benefit form the very mapping you have done when enjoying the outdoors. I hit #37 on edits (Feb, Mar 2025 had 121217 objects) in the US according to this: https://hdyc.neis-one.org/?Keith%20Helbley so I must use this a lot.
