Just for information: I have already asked the iD maintainers to list the preset for riding arenas higher up when you seach for "horse" (see https://github.com/openstreetmap/id-tagging-schema/issues/413), but I don't know how long it will take for someone to improve that.

I didn't mean to discourage you from mapping riding arenas. But I would recommend to use the preset for riding arenas (in iD editor search for "riding arena"). Then you will automatically get the right tags.

Yes, that's obvious, and such small arenas were horses are ridden/exercised are usually tagged with leisure=pitch + sport=equestrian (compare leisure=pitch#Riding_arena) and not with leisure=horse_riding. Like you also don't tag a single tennis court with leisure=sports_centre. Here is an example of an area tagged with leisure=horse_riding which contains a ridng arena tagged with leisure=pitch + süort=equestrian: way/999971685.

Hi, I want to ask why you have tagged way/1058272873 with leisure=horse_riding. You have tagged more than 200 similar areas like that. This tag is for places like riding centres or riding stables. I don't know these places, but in the aerial view most of the areas that you have tagged with leisure=horse_riding look more like simple riding arenas (which may or may not be part of a riding centre / riding stables); they also have no name. Riding arenas are usually tagged with leisure=pitch + sport=equestrian. You have tagged a few this way some years ago but since then used leisure=horse_riding. Why? I am asking this because the maintainers of the OSM Carto map have refused to render leisure=horse_riding a while ago mainly because it looked like too many riding arenas were tagged with leisure=horse_riding.

Why did you change the route type from horse to foot here? I think this is the riding route from Kostrzyn to Nowe Polichno for which I started a new relation (6247548) recently before I saw this one. Since your relation is older I propose that I move the elements from the new one to this one and change the tags like they are in the new one (back to horse route). Do you mind if I do that or do you have objections?
