Thanks for the answer. Do you mean because the areas do not look like the example in leisure=pitch ? Maybe it should be added there that this is just an example and there are also smaller and larger arenas. E.g. for jumping they are often larger.

I mainly complained about the mistagged riding arenas. They are still tagged as riding centres. I am not a Vespucci user; I use JOSM and iD, and to my knowledge, Vespucci uses the same presets as JOSM. In JOSM, you can use the preset for sport=equestrian to tag riding arenas.

How depressing to see the Core Software Development Facilitator map such a small circular area as way/1430348942 as a riding center! It should be tagged as way/704239918, IMHO. Here is an example of a real riding center: way/1334627268.

way/1430348943 doesn't really look like a riding center to me either, just like a track with a fence around it.

Why did you retag way/959770729 from a riding arena (leisure=pitch + sport=equestrian) to an equestrian centre (leisure=horse_riding)? To me, this area looks like a riding arena, so the previous tagging was correct, compare
osm.wiki/How_to_map_a#Riding_centre_(equestrian) and
leisure=horse_riding. A single riding arena is not an equestrian centre, just as a single soccer pitch is not a soccer stadium or sports_centre (from leisure=sports_centre).

Perhaps this riding arena belongs to an equestrian centre that has not yet been mapped; in that case, you can map it as an additional object (node or area) without retagging the arena, example: way/159628079#map=19/35.556070/139.650131&layers=P

the 10 small rectanges like way/1428966604, that you tagged with tourism=trail_riding_station, are problably just the 10 sandpaddock described on https://hippischcentrumlathum.nl/accommodatie/ and not trail riding stations. (A trail riding stations is a facilitiy where trail riders can stop and stay overnight on longer trail rides.) Paddocks can be tagged with landuse=animal_keeping

I did NOT recommend to retag way/1427690967 from racecourse (sports_centre + horse_racing) to equestrian center (leisure=horse_riding). Here the object (area) representing Porto Santo Equestrian Center is way/1282997073, and now you have produced another smaller equestrian center inside of Porto Santo Equestrian Center, which does not make much sense to me. Horse riding arenas should be tagged with leisure=pitch + sport=equestrian.

Yes, I ride horses. Unfortunately, the riding centres are not visible on many OSM maps because the tag has been used incorrectly too often (https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/pull/3660). That's why I occasionally complain when someone uses the tag incorrectly.
There are various tagging options for paddocks. In Germany, we have more smaller and grassless paddocks, for which meadow=paddock does not seem suitable, which is why (a long time ago) someone invented landuse=animal_keeping. See also osm.wiki/Riding
