Most of my edits come from fieldwork in geological and biodiversity surveys. I generalize or anonymize sensitive field data when needed.

I also contribute mapping from personal travels and areas of interest across China, especially in under-mapped regions.

June 24, 2026: I discovered OSM for the first time and started my mapping journey. I’m new to this. I’m not familiar with many OSM rules yet, so I might make mistakes—please let me know right away if you spot any. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to my work, I have obtained access to a semi-public Chinese geospatial database. The data has been compiled from a variety of sources, which may include academic publications, field surveys, military mapping, business registration records, and other publicly or institutionally available materials. It is not associated with or derived from any commercial company’s proprietary datasets, so there are no third-party commercial copyright concerns. The dataset is enormous—nearly 10 TB even after compression.

I have verified that the data is authentic and up to date. Before my account is banned—or before I lose my freedom or die—I will upload as much of the relevant data as possible in support of greater transparency in geospatial information.
