Heading southwest, the path slopes downward and cyclists pick up speed. This can seem dangerous to pedestrians. This is likely why, starting at the next western marker*) (51.5735256, 3.5230654), a narrow, winding footpath has formed uphill between the bike path and the horse trail. It runs a few meters south of the bike path.

Dit is een 1 richtingsweg, vanaf de Burgemeester Overdorpstraat mag je hier niet in met auto of motor.

There is a fence here, the route is not publicly accesible except between opening hours (07:00-19:00). I found out because I was curious and reached at 05:30 to a closed gate. Oh well, discovered some interesting things at least :)
