Usely nothing happens as long as the route uses the roundabout only once.

If a route pases a roundabout two, or more times (typical for long distance routes like Flixbus) than the automatic sorting is unable to do its work correctly.

Only two parts of this roundabout are bridges, so splitting is neccassary anyway.

Did some validator work (removed/replaced maxspeed:type, add crossing(_ref)=* to highway=crossing, ...)

You changed in Besançon a roundabout (way/470505796) to one circular bridge.

This has two disadvantage:
1. This doesn't fit the reality on the ground, only two parts are a bridge. Compare with the footway inside the roundabout.
2. This chance breaks at least nine long distance bus routes (Flixbus). Didn't check the local bus routes yet.

So I intend to revert these parts of your changeset within a few days.

Das ist ziemlich sicher eine Haltetelle für Fernbusse. Während im lokalen Kontext Namen wie Hautbahnhof oder ZOB meist ausreichend sind, ist das bei Fernbuslinien ohne Ortsnamen nichtssagend und damit ätzend.

Bei VRS-Info (https://www.vrs.de/lis/linie/de:vrs:310) wird als Betreiber OVAG genannt.
Deswegen habe ich die Änderung durchgeführt.

Eigentlich gehört ein highway=crossing an jede Stelle, wo ein Rad-/Fußweg eine Autostraße quert. Das ist unabhängig davon, ob es bauliche Einrichtungen oder Straßenmarkierungen gibt.

Allerdings meckert JOSM das Fehlen bei highway=service nicht an. Von daher ist es mir egal.

Hi Florimondable,

the Validator of JOSM flag this as a crossing missing the tag highway=crossing. In most instance I add bicicle=designated if it is a crossing only for bicycle.

A ref=* is in germany also on the roundabout.
I will think of this difference when editing in France.

i remove the maxspeed=* on roundabouts if the are to small to allow the speed indicated by the maxspeed=*.
