Hello. welcome what are you trying to map?
Sorry I did not put in the reference, here way/518373603 "Living with the hope of local mappers sorting things" this assumption makes things difficult for local / craft mappers like myself, hence if you can't follow the right geometry it would be better to trace up to a point with the right geometry or leave it completely. Yes, this was a HOT TM project I created which was heavily contributed to mostly by remote volunteers like yourself and corporate mappers from Apple. Revisiting and reviewing remote mappings in Ghana is making a couple of revelations. Thank you.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, Please avoid island way/roads and without any primary tags. See https://pewu.github.io/osm-history/#/way/906841113 And also use informative changeset comments in addition to the #######hashtags.
Please avoid creating island roads, kindly connect them to the nearest one. See https://pewu.github.io/osm-history/#/way/967623700 And avoid using only #######hashtags for changeset comments, thank you

Thank you for contributing to this years ago, but highly generalizing geometries is not helpful. Cheers!

What is this? "OpenStreetMap" as changeset comment doesn't mean anything. Read osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments
OSMAnd provides "Quick Actions" - https://osmand.net/features/quick-action which is useful for defining regular functions and custom tags such as "religion=christian", and others. I hope this helps. Also, see osm.wiki/Names#Good_Practice

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, and thanks for adding a new bar. There are a couple of issues here though, kindly zoom in to see existing features before mapping when using iD Editor. See more information about using iD here: https://learnosm.org/en/beginner/id-editor/
Welcome to OSM! Kindly right-click and select "Square" on building ways before saving. Read https://learnosm.org/en/hot-tips/tracing-rectangular-buildings/ Also let a feature be represented once, either as a node or polygon, in this case there exists a school node which can be converted into Polygon in JOSM to keep history.
