"Council is pleased to announce that the entire length of Taplan Road will be sealed thanks to Federal Government funding through the Heavy Vehicle Safety and Productivity awarded under the Coalition Government.

In October 2021, Council was successful in their application to the Program for $1.02 million which was matched by Council with a contribution of $1.02 million. Efficient and resourceful use of Council staff and contractors, as well as an additional budget allocation, will see the entirety of Taplan Road sealed."
