There seems to be some disagreement on whether Lawrence should be categorized the same as Saratoga. There has been some discussion about this in changeset/178336871. If I'm summarizing correctly, Flap Slimy Outward believes that the traffic is usually flowing between Lawrence and 85, and this part of Saratoga must therefore be categorized the same due to importance. My stance is that this segment of Saratoga is not a continuation of Lawrence. It's a slower & lower capacity road, and people on this road are going to a local destination, like the Westgate shopping complex. People that do use Lawrence for commuting are usually using Quito, and that people on 85 stay on 85. I say that this Saratoga is an extension of Saratoga and not Lawrence with Saratoga having roughly the same capacity between 85 and 280. Traffic is not flowing as this current road categorization is trying to convey. |
