Bershka to come "later this year".

Apparently in the former River Island unit at this location, according to the Oxford Clarion[1], but the press release[2] does not mention that, just "Upper Ground floor next to H&M and Urban Outfitters" (it does not say "between". [3] says "River island", but qualifies it somewhat.

David Clulow have opened a store in the unit next to Søstrene Grene, according to https://oxfordclarion.uk/clarion-weekend-3-july-2026/

Very possibly the unit that's currently Bobbi Brown in OSM, but it needs checking OTG

North Oxford golf club to close and be redeveloped as housing in late October 2025 (h/t to the Oxford Clarion again!)

Submissions to Cherwell District council show the redevelopment covering the entire area:

https://www.cherwell.gov.uk/site-search/results/?q=PR6b

The wider aspects of the Cherwell Local Plan 2011-2031 are summarised in the first result, "PR6b Land West of Oxford Road Development Brief Cherwell District Council August 2022", and that's well worth a look too. However, this OSM note is just about the immediate aspects of the golf club being shuttered soon: "disused:" prefixes for all the buildings, holes and fairways, I guess. Won't be a building site for a bit, I imagine.

Street complete asked if they are fixed horizontally, or suppoter from above.
I think it should be classified as horizontal but it kind of has both

Memory hazy and I only saw it in passing, but I think one of the shops here - either Heavenly Hair or Tuscan Pots - is becoming something else. Possibly a restaurant? "House of <something>"

Looking at the middle of the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUQUUCe4yCA (h/t The Clarion), they seem to be constructing parallel foot access here
