This path is signposted as a bridleway. The OS maps show it as a footpath but Sheffield Council have been improving off-road routes for horse riders and cyclists and this has involved changing the designation of some existing paths. I'm guessing this path is one of those.

This lane continues ENE, via the new estate road, then on to join Centre Drive. It's now a public footpath / right of way

If I recall correctly, some of these paths have stairs. Would be interesting to check and add the exact places, for wheelchair accessibility/mobility.
